The Association for Agentic Managers (AFAM) was founded in 2026 in response to the rapidly growing need for qualified "human-in-the-loop" AI Agent Managers — professionals capable of overseeing, governing, and optimizing the autonomous AI agents that are now reshaping how businesses operate. As a for-profit organization, AFAM delivers professional development training and certification programs for both individuals and organizations, focused on the core principles of effective AI agent management.
